National Hotline Telephone Care Since 2011, HCCN has established a National Hotline Telephone Care program for Chinese cancer patients and caregivers in the US. The program consists of Mandarin, Cantonese, and Taiwanese-speaking volunteers who are trained in empathetic listening and caring skills, and are equipped to be sensitive to the caller’s cultural, language, social, and religious backgrounds. Through compassionate listening and support, these volunteers care for Chinese cancer patients and their family through the difficult time of their cancer journeys to lift their spirit and give them the gift of hope. If you or your friends are in the need of support, please dial 1-888-663-8585 between 9 am and 5 pm (Pacific Time), Monday through Friday, to speak to our hotline volunteers.
